66Protour Reports

Farnham
Our first ever 36 hole event resulted in a fine win for former European Tour player Mike McLean. The veteran showed his class on the day as he fought off the challenge of David Griffiths and James Sheffield with rounds of 67 and 71 [ six under par] for a two shot victory margin. The Farnham course was in outstanding shape, and with the addition of several new bunkers and back tees created a challenging test for the tour players.
Next Event -The Addington, 36 Holes, 31st August
The Addington was founded in 1914. The course, located just 10 miles from Central London, is hard to classify and has been described as one of the most unique inland courses in golf . The club is now part of the Altonwood Golf Group and this event is supported by UKKO London.
Jamega Tour Tournament Reports
The Warwickshire
Tom Whitehouse wins on The Kings Course at The Warwickshire, battling floods on Day 1 and severe winds on Day 2. More like November than August most of the field were blown away but Tom showed his experience and tenacity and won through with grit and determination. Well done.
The Shire
James Jankowski's first Jamega win has been accomplished at one of this years most demanding courses, in rather blustery conditions. The Shire London, set out by the great Severiano Ballesteros was this weeks Jamega test for our tournament playing professionals with a prizefund kindly boosted by Jemca Toyota. James played with confidence and flair and was only really challenged in the latter stages by South Winchester winner Lyle Rowe who finished 7 under forcing James to par the difficult 18th to take the Winners Flag.
